Gear Up for Denim Day 2026 Event Recap

On Tuesday, April 7th, we gathered at Liberties Bar to kick off Sexual Assault Awareness Month and launch Denim Day 2026 — and it was such a special night!

Friends, partners, and community members came together to connect, reflect, and build momentum for the month ahead. With everything happening in the world right now, it felt especially important to be in community — to support survivors, raise awareness, and remind each other why this work matters.

We were proud to honor this year’s Use Your Voice Award recipients: Seth Eklund and The Bresee Foundation, longtime partners doing incredible work with youth and families across LA, and Ellen Snortland, a journalist and self-defense activist who has spent decades empowering women and girls.

The night was filled with great energy — from drinks and snacks to giveaways, signing our Denim Day pledge, and shopping merch. Our limited edition denim jackets were a hit, especially with on-site customization from Honeystitch Embroidery, making each piece a unique statement.

This was just the beginning. As we head toward Denim Day on April 29, we invite you to join us at our rally at LA City Hall and continue using your voice — to support survivors, speak out, and help prevent violence.

Thank you to everyone who came out — we hope to see you on the 29th!
