The City of Los Angeles declares Denim Day

Patti Giggans, Peace Over Violence Executive Director and Denim Day Founder, and Melodie Kruspodin, POV Youth Leadership and Development Manager, visited he City of LA's proclamation of Denim Day to give testimony about the importance of prevention and education on campuses of all levels. The proclamation was sponsored by Councilmembers Martinez, Dawson and Bonin, once again declaring Denim Day in LA. City of LA employees were invited to wear jeans on April 27th.
